Online Trauma & EMDR Therapy in Arizona

Is fear getting in the way of the life you want?

Maybe there's some exciting opportunity for you, but you don't believe in yourself or trust that you can be successful. You may have been feeling like you are in danger, so you've been avoiding going places, talking to people, or taking care of things. Perhaps you've noticed that, no matter how hard you try, you just never feel happy.

Whatever it is that you’re experiencing, you’re beginning to notice an impact in every part of your life:

  • Trouble focusing at work or school, because you fear failing or getting in trouble

  • Feeling alone, because you don't have healthy relationships

  • Unable to rest, because so many people, places, and things seem so dangerous

Trauma therapy can help.

It may feel impossible right now, but feeling safe and calm can be your baseline. You can trust and believe in yourself to take care of things. You can be a happier person. And I can help you get there.

Trauma therapy helps you do 4 things:

  • Trust other people and see the world as a safer place

  • Confidently express your needs with others to build healthier relationships

  • Focus on taking action towards your life goals

  • Have a more fulfilling life

I'll help you through this process, tailoring each step to your unique needs and circumstances. My approach to trauma therapy comes from a place of hope. I can help you let go of the past so you can feel excited about your future.

You don't have to keep feeling so stuck.

I can help you break free.

Frequently Asked Questions About Trauma Therapy

How do I know if I have trauma?

If you notice that a past event still feels pretty disturbing to think about and if you or others suspect that whatever you experienced still negatively impacts your life, even in small ways, this may be something that trauma therapy can help with. There's no need for us to know whether or not an event fits with the word 'trauma.'

How long do I need to do trauma therapy for?

The length of time it takes to complete therapy is different for everyone. Some may be dealing with a limited number of issues and may only need 3 months (or even less) while others may have had many disturbing events throughout their life and need more time. We all process through things at different speeds.

What are trauma therapy sessions like?

Most often, I use EMDR Therapy to help people move on from the past. If we use EMDR, I will guide you step-by-step through each phase of EMDR to help clear out the strong emotions tied to memories and triggers and help you transform beliefs about yourself and others.
